What is Cytology.
To make a diagnosis, cytopathologists (also known as cytologists) examine cells from bodily fluids or tissues. A specific kind of doctor, known as a pathologist, will examine the tissue sample’s cells under a microscope and search for traits or anomalies in the cells. Pathologists only require a very small sample of tissue to perform a cytology test because the test only looks at cells, which are incredibly tiny.
