Medical biology: What is it?
A medical specialty known as “medical biology” uses laboratory methods (such as analysis, microscopy, immunology, bacteriology, virology, haematology, etc.) to diagnose diseases, determine the effectiveness of therapies, and more.
Several specialized disciplines of medical biology are included:
infectious agent biology (bacteria, viruses, parasites and hospital hygiene)
biology of reproduction (analysis of seminal fluids and technical assistance for medically assisted reproduction)
Immunology is a branch of biology that studies the body’s defense processes.
Blood science biological (diagnosis of blood pathologies)
the study of molecules (study of molecules supporting hereditary coding – DNA and RNA nucleic acids)
Cytogenetics (study of chromosomes).
